In 1960, on the outskirts of Hollywod, a bowling alley opened that would serve the community for the next forty-three years. It was called "Hollywood Star Lanes." In March 2003, it was demolished to make way for a school.

Many of the vintage elements that you see at Lucky Strike, including the beloved "Hollywood" sign and the blue stars created for the movie "The Big Lebowski", are exact replicas of the originals that we salvaged and are now on display at Lucky Strike Hollywood.

With its combination of retro accents and modern technology, Lucky Strike opened in the heart of Hollywood in May 2003. It instantly became a hot spot for locals and celebrities alike and has been widely recognized in the media as "America's first true bowling lounge."

As we bring Lucky Strike to new locations across the country we will continue to stay true to our Hollywood roots. The original signature, the custom decor, the Hollywood history, the superior food and the passion for entertainment are all in the mix.
