Montreal LG Phone Experience & SHAN Lingerie Fashion Show @ Club Soda - Thursday May 3, 2007 |

SWEETER THAN CHOCOLATE
Thursday night, LG and Shan teamed up to give us a chocolatey evening at Club Soda that was what LG Spokesperson Frank Lee called "approachable luxury." I agree. It was a treat for the eyes, the mouth and the soul.
It all started with a fashion show that was a unique fusion of lingerie and cell phones, if you can imagine that! Models heated up the runway in fashions that went from sexy to sexier to sexiest. The barely-there creations sizzled in black and black lace on white. Models strutted and flirted with the packed crowd in bras, thongs, booty-huggers and sheer coverups. There were also a few little black cocktail dresses, with the emphasis on the little. And turbans even made an appearance. Yes, a turban is now hot. But so is pretty much anything when you pair it with lingerie.
To my (and I'm sure every other girl's) delight, the thirteen models included two guys. The first had a butt like a perfect apple you just want to take a bite out of. The second one was smokin' hot too... that's why their models, right? But I swear his face looked exactly like McFly from Back to the Future, you know when Biff is tormenting him (Hello McFly).
Now, the question I'm sure is probably on all of your minds is "Where do you put your cellphone when you're wearing nothing but a bra and panties?" Why, on a garter strap of course! Just when you thought a lingerie fashion show couldn't get any sexier.
Next up on stage was a break-dancing quartet that was introduced with a "Do not try this at home" warning. Once they started, it was easy to see why.
They were leapfrogging, back flipping, air freezing, breaking out the fancy footwork, dancing in unison, flying off of each other, and pulling out the one-handed spins. These dynamo dancers finished off their performance with a disco groove. Who knew disco and breakdancing went together?
Although the models and dancers provided an amazing feast for the eyes, I have to admit that another star upstaged them and stole the show... the feast for the mouth! Of course, I had to sample the Chocolate Temptation specialty drink for the evening, and it did NOT disappoint! Then came tray after tray of delightful h'ors d'oeuvres. So many delectable little creations of the likes I have never tried. When I popped a sushi hand roll into my mouth, do you think I ever, ever thought it would be chocolate sushi? It really was! The food just did not stop. Usually for a special event you plan on around four to six h'ors d'oeuvres per person. I swear I must have had at least twelve and turned down many more. For all of us whose path to our hearts are through our stomachs (and I KNOW that's a lot of us), this event made us fall head over heels.
