At the Avant Garde event held at Seva Lounge in Montreal, models displayed fashions from Montreal establishments on a hot pink catwalk. Black Sheep Betty designers Christina Ledang, Katherine Turvey and Amy Arnott all showcased fashions from their winter collections. This event was put on by LaSalle College's fashion students to launch their fashion magazine entitled "Avant Garde". The magazine featured an article about the Black Sheep Betty gallery, as well as fashion tips and advice. At the event, four Montreal fashion biz pros like manicurists and makeup artists were also in attendance for hands-on demonstrations.
