BIOGRAPHY:
Always a visionary, Mr. Gao saw that down-filled garments need not be bulky but could be high fashion as well as warm. Today, and for the past ten years, BSD’s haute couture outerwear and sports leisure garments are rated No. 1 and BSD Corp. is the best selling manufacturer in the world.
COLLECTION:
Imagine a cold urban night with ice fog and pale moonlight. Splashes of living greens and regal purples emerge with a hint of hot pinks reminiscent of full lips and smooth skin. Gradually, form-hugging pleats and folds take shape. Rich, vibrant colours seem to wrap the woman’s body in a protective embrace.

COLLECTION:
Titled Hell’s Kitchen, this season’s collection was inspired by the still lives from17th century Hollandic painting. Upon this dramatic but soft ambiance, we can enjoy the ultra feminine silhouettes with the renowned BODYBAG structure. BODYBAG has now its own house on Bernard where the whole BODYBAG concept can be experienced.


CLUC COUTURE

A self-taught couturier trained in costume design, CLUC appeared on the Montreal fashion scene in 2001. In 2005, he launched his first ready-to-wear collection under the brand CLUC Couture. He never looked back. Today, CLUC Couture is worn by Quebec stars, ladies who lunch and martini chicks.
COLLECTION:
The CLUC Couture ready-to-wear collections for men and women are inspired by India in the Victorian Era. Wools and silks are in shades of black, grey and beige - highlighted by saris in sexy flashing colors.

Born in Congo, Patrice Soku went to Conde fashion school in France, before working as a fashion designer in Egypt. Then, in Israel, he was designer for menswear at shlomo, a couture house. Returning to Paris in 2002, he worked for Jean Paul Gaultier as assistant designer. Immigrating to Quebec in 2003, he founded Sokü at 2004.
COLLECTION:
A collection is inspired from Japanese samurai’s attires, traditional Chinese costumes and Russian military uniforms. The line fuses the chic and refined style of Europe with the sporty urban style of North America by blending perfectly harmonized fabric and impeccable cuts.

Founded in 1952, Telio quickly made its mark in the textile importation industry and is regarded today as one of its leaders in North America. Telio has always been committed to supporting the next generation of young designers. To this end, it has organized, for its second year, a contest intended to support fashion design students by creating an opportunity to showcase their talents. Three students will be the lucky recipients of the Telio scholarship.
