In 1986, Revenge set up shop on Saint-Denis with the goal of promoting Quebec's fashion and designers to both Quebecers and foreigners visiting Montréal. The name Revenge was chosen in reaction to the prevailing gloom heralding the death of Quebec fashion.
Revenge doesn't stand for revolt or a vengeful outlook, but for a revolution and dynamic movement towards creativity.
So, since its beginnings, Revenge has been a driving force for the promotion of Quebec fashion designers.
Nevertheless, without sacrifying this core philosohpy, owners Francine Ouellet and Michel Contant have elected to open up the store to Canadian fashion designers from outside Quebec. For the last 8 years, revenge has been promoting Canadian fashion and designers while bringing the boutique in the national market.
More than ever, with the range of fashion designers showcased, the boutique appeals to a varied clientele: from business woman to artist, to chic to the audicious and refined who wants to voice her individuality.
For men, the boutique offers ready-to-wear clothing by designer names, for the laid-back man who is not afraid to show it.
