Q: Hey,
I have a relatively important job interview coming up, and I want to look good without wearing the typical button-up shirt plus A-line skirt, or suits of any kind. Any suggestions? Also, are peep-toes acceptable interview wear? Thanx! (

A:
Hey Coco! Now the answer really depends on what field the job is in. But, to be safe and a bit different from the norm, I suggest a pair of black slim fitting pants with a cropped jacket (doesn't have to match the pants) and stylish blouse. The blouse doesn't have to be button up, but it also shouldn't be too casual or low cut. Add on a pair of closed toe flats or a mid-sized heel and you should be dressed to impress!
Another option is a shift dress, which is very Jackie O and appropriate for interviews. Add on some pretty but not overbearing accessories and you are ready.
Peep-toes may be acceptable for some companies; however I definitely WOULD NOT take my chances.
Remember it is better to overdress than underdress.( jacqui

Q: I love the tailored shorts with stiletos look but I am starting to feel like the trend is on its way out. Do you think I can still get away with wearing this trend and look fashion forward? (

A:

Try funking it up a bit with some vibrant accessories or a cool belt if you want to stand out from the crowd. Also, you can try pairing the shorts with a wed |
