Faithful to their reputation, the Molson Dry Valleyfield Regattas accomodated the North-American elite pilots of hydroplanes, on July 7th and 9th on the circuit of the Saint-Francois bay. The enthusiasts for big thrills were able to make the wave with the hundred runners awaited in the world capital of the motorized regattas for their annual rendez-vous. While guaranteeing a breathtaking display on water, the Molson Dry Valleyfield Regattas were able to fill a vaster audience by offering a cultural shutter to this highly anticipated event.

Within the framework of evening-shows, SAQ, figureheads of the Quebec artistic colony, some while not being with their first visit, offered their best successes to music lovers present in the Sauve park.On the Lotto-Quebec scene, live were the Porn Flakes and Kevin Parent (Saturday July 1), Hugo Lapointe and Kain (Thursday July 6), Lulu Hughes and Martin Deschamps (Friday July 7), Robert Charlebois and Jonas (Saturday July 8). Since 1999, forty Quebec artists who ravelled on this vast external scene installed in this enchanted park, and who sang in front of a conquered crowd.

The cream of the crop runners in North America competed in the categories of boats registered with the program: Unlimited, Unlimited Light, Large National Hydro, PS/Can-Am, 5 liters, 2,5 liters, Jersey Speed Skiff, 1,5 liter. Many senior pilots took part in the 68th edition of the test queen of the motonautism. The Jean Theoret, Patrick Haworth, Jean-Francois Latour, Mike Manahan, all these champions, and many others, held us in breath throughout the weekend, more importantly as they held a special place in the heart of the many fans who gathered on the outskirts of the course on the Saint-Francois bay, the queen of the motonautism.
