| Member:Dizsatisfied | Aug 16 2009 3:37PM | | My friend and I visited this store and we have never ever been so insulted, degraded, wrongfully accused, more harassed, etc in our lives! We NEVER had problems with stores in our lives.
The security lady working there (heard about bad experiences with her before) accused my friend and I of stealing a short time after we got into the change room! There were other people in the change room long before we got there, as well as for longer periods than us but she attacked us for some unknown reason! We felt like we were attacked because of our skin color and background. There was no reasonable explanation for her horrible behavior, she should know better than discriminate based on color. To top it off, the girl that put us in those rooms with number tags pushed the blame on us while looking afraid at the same time! We came out with the exact same number of pieces as we went in. Besides being told to leave the store, we were called liars several times when we answered her questions but it just seems like she wanted to make a bigger scene in front of everyone. Fortunately they didn't get physical (search) because my friend was so upset over it that she wanted to take legal action had they did. We still don't understand what happened and why we were treated in such horrid ways. THIS IS DEFINITELY A TOPIC I'LL BE BRINGING UP WITH MY FRIEND'S FAMILY WHO WORKS IN LAW!!
It was such a horrible experience that we will NEVER EVER go back there again!! We were made to feel so unwelcome. It was such a malicious attack!!! It was appalling!! We felt raped of our dignity, our values, and of everything that we are. There's no word to describe the way we feel. It's so sad that there's still people who won't accept others from a different racial background.
I just hope that no one has to go through what we went through. I suggest other UP stores because this is definitely not the store to check out. Rating:  |
