The Distillery District, is a national Historic Site and represents the largest and best preserved collection of Victorian Industrial Architecture in North America. Formerly known as The Gooderham and Worts Distillery, this facility has played an important role in the growth and wealth of both the city and nation, at one time contributing more to the Federal coffers than any other enterprise in the country. Whether your interests lie in heritage architecture, 19th century industrial processes or ghost stories, The District offers areas of interest for everyone of all ages

The Distillery District is the host to one of the largest and most unique festival line ups in the country. The summer & winter months are filled with everything from music festivals to arts festivals, farmers markets to beer tasting events, Film Festival events, and the most talked about event of the year Bliss New Years Eve, hosted by Kleen Media annually.

The Distillery is home to some of the finest art galleries in the country. The District?s unique concentration of art galleries and art dealers exhibit a surprising range and depth of specialties, from historical and contemporary photography to Canadian and International painting, sculpture and installation.

The Distillery has attracted some of the finest artists and artisans from around the country. Virtually every artistic discipline is represented in The Distillery District.
