This may be Torontos most spectacular venues to hold special events like the anual New Years Gala. There are 2 maain huge rooms with 27 foot ceilings, an upstairs vip area, a dining area aqnd a beautiful outside grounds.
I think this New Year’s event left something to be desired. There were a lot of people, yes. The dinner service was very nice, food was more than I expected and the table settings were great.
There were easily 5000 people between the two dance rooms. This made dancing with your date near impossible, never mind the fact there was little room to move.
The group of us was slightly disappointed. We realize we didn’t do our research on the event, but the liberty grand has always been a little more ‘classy’ then what we saw going on.
On the positive our dinner tickets also got us a free glass of Cham
