CANADIANS INVADE LAS VEGAS WITH EXODUS FESTIVAL MAY 22-24, 2010
Canadian partygoers will take over Sin City at the Exodus Festival Victoria Day weekend. Uniq Lifestyle from Toronto has partnered with Mystery Entertainment, Dynamite Events, Voice Marketing, the EL Agency and Saint Woods in Montreal to host a three-day festival that will include stops at Las Vegas’ most popular bars, nightclubs and hotels.
Some of the spectacular venues on the itinerary include Vanity at the Hard Rock Hotel, the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino’s Wet Republic’s Ultra Pool, and Eve at the brand new City Centre Hotel & Casino. Hundreds of Canadians have already signed up for Exodus, and it’s being predicted that in coming years, Exodus will see thousands of Canucks participating.
“It’s almost like Canada is invading Vegas - anything you want to find you can find there,” says organizer Andrew Christoforou. “I have been in the nightclub business for 11 years in Toronto, and after I partied in Vegas I nearly lost my mind over how these clubs and pool parties were built. It’s like an adult fantasy playground. Las Vegas is a city that must be experienced by everyone!”
DJs from every province across Canada have been booked to appear at daytime, evening and after-hours parties. This monumental event will be profiled in a feature in the upcoming issue of Urban Male Magazine.
Exodus Festival is the first event of its kind, and will take place on the most popular travel weekend of the year – Victoria Day long-weekend. Canadians will unite and celebrate surviving another long winter by letting loose in Sin City May 22-24, 2010.

Canadian reggaeton artist and songwriter, Fito Blanko, just announced the release of his new single from his record label Crown Loyalty Entertainment. The single entitled “MAMBO” featuring Drake was written by Fito Blanko and produced by Sensei.
The album (title still tbd) is scheduled to be released by Fall 2010. In addition to Drake, the new album brings together a roster of artists such as R&B, reggae and reggaeton artist, Notch and Panamanian reggae artist, Saik, to name a few. “MAMBO” is the internationally anticipated follow-up to “Tear It Up” feat. Beenie Man (released June 2008), and his greatly acclaimed album, Higher Level (released June 2004 by Universal Music Canada).
Higher Level generated awards including Best Solo Artist at the Latin Industry Award, and Fito’s single “Me Voy A Marchar” won him Global Rhythms Recording of the Year at the Canadian Urban Music Award in 2005. The new album has been Fito Blanko’s 4 year endeavor, and the release of “MAMBO” is but one of many singles that will reveal his heightened passion, commitment and vision for the genre.

Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie brought in the New Year in Las Vegas! The pair shared the red carpet as they were both hosting TAO Group events for New Year’s Eve. Christina hosted Tao Nightclub’s NYE party at the Venetian and Nicole hosted NYE at Lavo Nightclub inside the Palazzo.
After hitting the red carpet the lovely ladies parted ways. Christina headed over to Tao where she was joined by husband Jordan Bratman, her sister, and backup dancers. The group dined at Tao restaurant before heading upstairs to a VIP sky box inside the nightclub. The crowd went wild when the superstar hit the stage just before midnight to countdown to 2010.
Meanwhile, over at Lavo Nightclub Nicole was joined by beau Joel Madden who was also the special guest DJ for the night. Nicole jumped up on Lavo’s catwalk just before midnight for the countdown to 2010, taking photos of the crowd with her camera. After the countdown she joined Joel in the DJ booth for the rest of his set.
For a second year in a row the TTC along with the Toronto Entertainment Alliance are providing FREE TTC service on New Year’s Eve, January 1st 2009 from 12:01 a.m. - 4 a.m.
It’s expected that over 100,000 people will ride the TTC between midnight and 4 a.m. on January 1st, 2010 and the Toronto Entertainment Alliance, headed by president and CEO of Liberty Entertainment Group Nick Di Donato, wants to ensure that the city gets home safe.
“After a night of celebration, it is our aim to help ensure our patrons arrive home safely. Our customers well being is always our number one priority. This initiative will make their trip home easy and safe, by providing them with complimentary TTC service. Our hope is that this initiative will continue for many future New Year’s Eve celebrations” Nick Di Donato, President & CEO, Liberty Entertainment Group.
Actor Jesse Metcalf made a special apperance at Tryst Nightclub in Toronto last weekend to host their special event, I’m With Him.
The star, most known for his steamy role on Desperate Housewives, enjoyed the night at his VIP table while graciously posing for photos with friends and fans.
